Before today, that is.
Things I learned from today's SocSci 1 class:
1. Disney likes showing off its animation.
2. Disney likes showing off its songs.
3. Disney is smart enough to do both at the same time.
4. If the wind is on your side you don't need an interpreter.
5. May namamatay pala sa Disney movie na hindi nahuhulog mula sa tuktok ng bundok/torre/waterfall.
6. Kung historical events ang pinapakita mo, okay lang na may baril. Kung sa modern times, hindi na.
7. No one wants to marry the person their dad wants them to marry. No one.
8. If you watch enough Disney movies you can tell when someone is about to sing even before the opening notes to the song start playing.
9. Crazy silly sidekicks (usually not human) pwn the heroes and heroines any day.*
10. I have no idea where Jamestown is. Or if it exists, for that matter. I also have no idea where Virginia is, but that's beyond the point.
11. When you're invading a land and trees talk to you, you'd better listen to them.
*Probably because they don't have to be smart or idealistic or golden-hearted the way heroes and heroines have to be by virtue of being heroes and heroines. But still.
