Marvin is in the hospital, or at any rate in whatever you call the place where dogs stay when they're with their vet overnight. The vet says he's okay, the operation went fine, the kidney stone shouldn't be a problem anymore. I certainly hope he stays that way. We have to change his diet, but to be honest I should have seen that coming a long time ago. No more people food means no more giving him stuff on my dinner plate that I don't agree with, though.
Chem exam tomorrow, Calculus and SocSci on Monday, Comm3 on Tuesday. This will work.

This is the thing about fiction: it has to make sense. (Yes, Mr. Joyce, it really does.) And this is the other thing about fiction: it lets you take a look outside the world, or maybe a look at the world from the outside, and the change is always welcome.
