Because of the stuffed toys and the pedia ward and our impromptu party organizing efforts despite exams, exams, and more exams; because of the rainmaker-making assembly line and the balloons and Brooklyn Pizza and our crazy crammed gift exchanges and the fact that we loved our gifts anyway and because I wrote this using A GIANT BALLPOINT PEN. Because everyone showing up to make props for the lantern parade means that the house gets cleaned and because breaking into song whenever we feel like it is something we do and because no one is ever in want of smart-aleckry.
