Don't fall asleep during Mass, don't forget to get gifts for your parents, don't cram your calculus homework tonight, and above all don't worry about overeating, provided your stomach is up to it. Enjoy your presents, be nice even just for twenty-four hours in a year, and tell the people who remind you that the date was stolen from a pagan holiday and that it all goes back to blood and commercialism in the end that they're missing the point. Holidays are what you make them.
And save the missing fingers for New Year.
