I honestly didn't know that I was doing it. Every Friday, when the time for dinner rolls about, I always air the same complaint.

"Bakit ba kasi may CAT sa mundo?"

Today my dad said, "So that smart people would learn humility."

It's a good answer. I wanted to answer back, but it would be a shame to ruin the good answer-ness of the moment.

Sir Arghs: "And at first it was going well, the Trojans were all running away from Patroclus since they were scared of the armor-"
Me: "Scared of the armor?!"

(three weeks ago)
Me: "Kate! If Job were a wizard he would be the Wizard of Uz!"
Kate: "After raping my brain you killed it!"
(two weeks later)
Me: "Kate! I have a corny joke about Job that's weeks late."
Kate: (with something that sounded like a sound of despair) What is it?
Me: "Lahat na lang ginawa ni God kay Job, kaso hindi siya nawalan ng trabaho. Never siyang nawalan ng job."
I don't blame her for her reaction. The first reaction that would have come to my mind would probably be some sort of expletive.

Our shield is the best shield ever. We even have the dog from the Powerpuff Girls on it! Well, the Spartans have Winnie-the-Poohs for lions. That is, Winnie-the-Poohs with afros.

Yup. Kawawa talaga si Achilles. Two thousand years after his death, pinagtritripan pa ang buhay niya ng mga science scholar.
